In case you missed it amid all the Kylie-Travis-Tyga drama, Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are reportedly 'dating'. Cyrus has been linked to the Australian singer since ending things with Kaitlynn Carter, and recently appears to have confirmed their relationship on social media.
Here, we take a look at the complete timeline of Cyrus and Simpson's rumoured relationship. (So far).
They Have Been Friends For Years As it turns out, Cyrus and Simpson have been friends for years. In 2015, Simpson, who has previously dated Gigi Hadid, spoke of his closeness to the former Disney star in an interview with GQ.
"Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff—trying to escape your childhood. She's super open-minded and I'm working on becoming more like that," he said.
Simpson's affections seem to go back even further, with the singer telling Fuse that Cyrus was his "childhood celebrity crush" in 2012.
"I knew all the words to her songs, I'm not gonna lie—I'm not ashamed about it at all," he added.
Speculation entered full swing after the pair were photographed making out at an açaí bowl joint in Los Angeles, with Hollywood gossip site TMZ publishing the photos and footage of the rumoured date.
Cyrus later went on to address rumours of their relationship after pictures of their kiss were made public, taking to her Instagram Stories to write "can't I just have a kiss and açaí bowl?!?!".
The singer also spoke candidly about the double standards being levelled at her for appearing to move on 'quickly' after her split from Liam Hemsworth.
"Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut shamed. They move on from one beautifl young woman to the next MOST times without consequence," she wrote.
"... I am just trying to thrive in a 'mans' world... if we can't beat 'em, join 'em!"
On the same day, Cyrus all but confirmed her relationship with Simpson when she shared a shirtless photo him to her Stories, admitting that the 22-year-old Australian (and his abs) was her type.
