Released October 14, the video for their latest single off of 2019’s joint EP, Oasis, sees the reggaetoneros taking to the stage to serenade for a change. “La Canción” is not a club bop, then. Rather, it’s a ballad about all those club bops you once danced to with a past lover, and can’t help but feel sad over listening to now without them. Set in a cabaret club, the music video for “La Canción” most distinctly features the collaborators in traditional face makeup. It seems the reggaetoneros-turned-crooners are trying to kindle a sense of already being “dead” to their exes, with an airy apparition eventually making its appearance on the dance floor. Rosalía has cracked the billionaire club.  The rising Spanish singer’s hit “Con Altura” ("With Height") with J Balvin and featuring producer El Guincho has notched up one billion views on YouTube. Helmed by Director X, the “Con Altura” video sees the trio start a party on a plane and its star shows off some of her signature flamenco moves.  The clip went live on YouTube in late March 2019 and has logged 28 weeks on the video streaming platform’s global list of most popular music videos. In late August, “Con Altura” went on to win a brace of trophies at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, in the choreography and Latin categories, making her the first Spanish winning-artist in VMAs history. Old habits die hard for Tyga. The rapper and his 5-year-old son, King Cairo, are being sued by Simon Cowell’s ex-fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy for over $40,000 in back rent, according to TMZ. Hussainy claimed in her suit that Tyga, 28, moved into her rental home in March 2017 and agreed to pay $40,000 a month. She stopped receiving checks from him in January, and he hasn’t caught up on his back payments. King Cairo is listed in the suit because Tyga listed him on the lease. Tyga does have some cash flow, though, as he donated $10,000 to ex Blac Chyna’s assistant after she suffered a brain hemorrhage. Kylie Jenner’s ex was plagued with money problems in 2016, owing countless creditors millions of dollars. Tyga’s rep didn’t get back to us.
